Stop burning and chapping your hands. The first purpose-built steam wand cleaner that gives baristas superior control, zero mess, and replaceable microfiber pads.
For decades, the only way to clean a hot steam wand was a damp towel. Result: chapped hands, occasional burns, milk residue transferred back onto the next pitcher, and constant laundry.
Artpresso Design solved it after observing real café workflows and consulting professional baristas. The result is a first-of-its-kind tool that envelops the wand, protects your hands with a heat-resistant flexible exterior, and delivers a spotless clean in one squeeze-and-wipe motion.
Steven Monti, industrial designer with 20+ years across medical, consumer, and specialty coffee products, founded Artpresso Design after years of frustration watching baristas destroy their hands with wet towels. The team consulted café owners, world barista champions, and machine manufacturers to create tools that solve actual daily pain points rather than add more accessories. Artpresso products have been featured in Daily Coffee News and are used alongside La Marzocco collaborations.
Does the Artpresso Steam Wand Cleaning Tool fit all espresso machines?
Yes. The flexible exterior and microfiber pad wrap standard commercial and home steam wands of virtually any diameter or length.
Is it really better than a regular microfiber towel?
Yes. A towel soaks, transfers bacteria/milk between uses, and offers no heat protection or leverage. This tool keeps hands dry, provides superior control, and uses replaceable, washable pads for true hygiene.
How do I clean and replace the pads?
Rinse and squeeze between uses. Hand-wash ONLY at the end of the day. Pads attach via Velcro and are guided by a seam for quick reinsertion. Extra 3-packs are available.
Will this prevent clogged steam tips?
It dramatically reduces external milk buildup (the main source of residue that gets drawn back into the tip). Still follow the classic purge → wipe → purge routine and weekly tip soaks with a dedicated milk cleaner.
